I have been going to PT for the last 2 months to gain full mobility from double hip replacement surgery in October.
Now the Type A, I’ve got this part of me has multiple times almost decided “I don’t need this to go to PT, I’ve got it on my own.”
Last week I went in and couldn’t walk straight without losing my balance on the treadmill. We watched, did some steps, took video and I relentlessly tried to figure it out.
I went back, frustrated and Trish did some tweaks and said get back on the treadmill and run. I said, “Run”.
The challenge was given and I RAN. I RAN 5 minutes on the treadmill.
The smallest changes make all the difference. From not able to keep my balance to running in two days.
I was giddy with excitement. I was radiating so much excitement that everyone else at PT was like – what are you in for – I want to be able to do what you're doing.
The gamechanger. Confidence.
Confidence that I didn't get alone, but someone helped unlock the confidence within me.
We are not meant to do life or business alone. We need others to encourage us and unlock the power within us.
Self reflection, self motivation, determination, grit are great. But others can see what you can't.
Who is boosting your confidence today?
P.S. If you are a Visionary CEO and need someone to help you see the small changes that create HUGE wins, DM me to set up a strategy session and restore your confidence. Together we’ll get your #ducksinarow.
